I, along with my wife and 3 children are residents of Ward 43 for the past 12 years and have lived in the City for over 35 years. I have an outstanding record of community service to the City, to the Province of Ontario and to Canada. A Fair Share for Scarborough We need to improve TTC services in Scarborough, improve the learning environment for children and youth. A fair share of resources for Scarborough will help create more green space in Ward 43 and build more recreational facilities that are accessible and affordable for the community.
As a member of the Advisory Council of the Toronto Police Chief since 2003, I fully understand that we all have a role to play in ensuring the safety of our community. I support community policing that is results-oriented community based system which relies on the cooperation of police officers, volunteers and community members. I will work towards more effective relationship between Police and City Hall. I believe in providing the community with the tools needed to take a leadership role in reducing crime in our community.
